Our nation is in a state of flux with pressing issues impacting the health and well being of our residents. A succession of recent tragic events attracted the attention of the country, highlighting the insidious perseverance of racism and inequality. The overt and covert acts associated with racism disproportionately affect some, but ultimately affect the health, economic security, and safety of us all. Now, more than ever nonprofits have an increased business need and growing social interest to identify, understand, and find more effective lasting solutions to the issue by creating a culture of diversity, equity & inclusion.
